3.3. A digression: differences between servlets and applets
It is important not to confuse servlets with applets.
They can easily be confused as both are concerned with the execution of Java bytecodes.
Whereas bytecodes of a servlet are executed by the webserver program, bytecodes of an applet are executed by the browser.
